Overview
- Prowlarr is an indexer manager that syncs indexers across all *arr apps
- Huntarr connects to Prowlarr for centralized indexer health monitoring
- Not used for hunting directly — Prowlarr manages the indexers that other apps use
What Huntarr Does with Prowlarr
- Monitors indexer health and status
- Provides visibility into indexer performance on the dashboard
- Allows Prowlarr configuration from within Huntarr's interface
Configuration
Standard instance settings: URL, API key, name.
Prowlarr doesn't have 'hunt' capabilities. It manages indexers that Sonarr, Radarr, and other apps use for searching.

Tips
- Keep Prowlarr healthy — it affects all your other *arr apps' ability to search
- Configure indexers in Prowlarr, not in individual *arr apps
- Huntarr will warn you if Prowlarr reports unhealthy indexers
