Indexers & Clients
Configure where Movie Hunt searches for and downloads movies.
Indexers
Indexers are the search engines Movie Hunt uses to find movie releases.
Adding an Indexer
- Go to Movie Hunt > Settings > Indexers
- Click "Add Indexer"
- Select the indexer type (Newznab for Usenet, Torznab for Torrents)
- Enter the indexer URL and API key
- Test and save
Indexer Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A friendly label |
| Type | Newznab (Usenet) or Torznab (Torrent) |
| URL | The indexer's API URL |
| API Key | Your indexer API key |
| Categories | Movie categories to search (default: 2000, 2010, 2020, 2030, 2040, 2045, 2050) |
| Priority | Lower number = higher priority |
You can add multiple indexers. Movie Hunt queries all of them and selects the best release based on your quality profile and custom format scoring.
Download Clients
Download clients handle the actual downloading of movie files.
Adding a Client
- Go to Movie Hunt > Settings > Clients
- Click "Add Client"
- Select the client type (SABnzbd, NZBGet, qBittorrent, Deluge, Transmission)
- Enter the host, port, and credentials
- Test and save
